“Kauri”
is the significance of prosperity. It is a rare sacred product found in
the ocean. As per Indian mythology, “Kauri” was procured from
“Samudra Manthan” along with “Lakshmi” and other
rare divine and holy products. From the ancient time, “Kauri”
was used as the currency. Afterward, “Kauri” was used in the
ornaments and was also used as the key of gambling.
“Kauri” is the significance of “Maha Lakshmi”.
As per Indian Shastras, the Holy books of India, “Kauri” is
said to be the loving product of “Maha Lakshmi”.
Alike Conch, “Shankha”, whoever keeps “Kauri”
during the prayer of “Maha Lakshmi”, gets her blessings and
gains success, prosperity, wealth and fame in the life.
“Kauri” is also related to Lord Shiva. The hairs of Lord Shiva
are similar to “Kauri”. Today, the people of India use to
decorate Nandi, the devotee of Lord Shiva with “Kauri”. “Kauri”
is said to be a great tool to save the children from devil effects (“Bhoot-Pret
Badha”). “Kauri” is tied up in the vehicles
to save it from accidents.
