Most of us will agree that the majority of the prevailing problems we have in the world we live in are composed by us only. Here, in this world ‘currency' is in fashion. From outside, the currency in shape of money looks to be in trend. But in reality, in this realm of fear, the power of wealth and authority, are two such tactics that decide what you can "achieve”.

"I and Mine" and "desire to see myself at the highest peak" - are the keys to external and artificial success, which inspire to live in this world full of materialism and extremism. (And here it happens naturally, means, it is now the behaviour of this world).

To achieve inner success, spiritual peace, happiness, satisfaction, bliss and perfection, in such a horrified environment, where the ego is so strong on its own, means, "ego" has become so powerful, if not impossible, it is extremely difficult.”

"On the other hand, in our fantasies, there is a realm of love and bonafide, where compassion and serving others are in tune, with which it is decided what you can "give” to others. There, more importance is given to others than "I and Mine". There, the key to inner-success is compassion and feel of serving others. In fact, there is no distinction between internal and external in that city. It is easy to attain self-satisfaction, ultimate bliss and perfection, because there, all this happens naturally".

It is easy to understand the world where fear dominates... where ego is spread everywhere; it is easy because we live in that world... we experience it every moment. We are only a part of the system of such a world.

On the other hand, there is the imagination of a realm where there is peace and happiness everywhere. The pragmatism and realities of such a world are suspected because we have never experienced it. The idea of ​​"permanent peace" and "everlasting happiness" seems unnatural ... it seems impractical. Living in such a world, where there is no fear, it is too difficult to think of it in the thoughts, that is, it is too difficult for us to imagine such a world.

But still... we are human beings. May it be very difficult to make fantasies meaningful, but we definitely put the efforts. And as soon as we begin to try to shape the social structure of such ‘love world' in our fantasies; As soon as we start trying to adopt compassion towards others, the excessive egotism and eerie thinking prevailing in us overwhelms our mind, which destroys the fellow feelings for others.

We have such a reaction because we are residents of the fearful and egoistic world. There is a famous saying – your company effects you. So it is the effect of this world system that fear and ego are naturally presented in us. We are like this only !

”हममें से अधिकतर लोग इस बात पर सहमत होंगे कि हम जिस संसार में रहते हैं वहाँ प्रचलित समस्याओं में से अधिकतम हमारे द्वारा ही रचित हैं। यहाँ, इस संसार में मुद्राओं का चलन है। ऊपरी तौर पर तो यहाँ रुपया-पैसा ही चलन में दिखाई देता है। पर वास्तविक्ता में, भय की इस नगरी में, धन-दौलत और सत्ता की ताकत, दो ऐसी मुद्राऐं हैं जिनसे यह तय होता है कि आप क्या ”प्राप्त” कर सकते हैं।

”मैं और मेरापन” और ”स्वयं को उच्चतम शिखर पर देखने की चाहत” - यही हैं बाहरी और बनावटी सफलता की कुँजी, जो भौतिकतावाद व अतिवाद से भरपूर इस संसार में जीने की प्रेरणा देती हैं”। (और ऐसा यहाँ प्राकृतिकरूप से होता है, अर्थात यह इस संसार का स्वभाव है)

”आंतरिक सफलता, आत्मिक शांति, प्रसन्नता, आत्मसंतुष्टि, आनंद व पूर्णता को प्राप्त करना, वो भी ऐसे भयाक्रांत वातावरण में, जहाँ अपनेपन पर केंद्रित अहंकार अर्थात ”अहम्” इतना बलवान हो चुका हो, नामुमकिन नहीं तो अत्यंत कठिन अवश्य है”।

”वहीं दूसरी ओर हमारी कल्पनाओं में एक प्रेम व सद्भावना की नगरी है, जहाँ दया, करुणा व सेवारूपी ऐसी मुद्राऐं चलन में हैं, जिनसे यह तय होता है कि आप दूसरों को क्या ”दे” सकते हैं। वहाँ ”मैं और मेरापन” नहीं वरन् दूसरों का महत्व अधिक है। वहाँ दूसरों के प्रति करुणा व सेवा का भाव ही सफलता की कुँजी है - आंतरिक सफलता की कुँजी। वस्तुतः उस नगरी में आंतरिक व बाहरी जैसा कोई भेद नहीं है। वहाँ आत्मसंतुष्टि, आनंद व पूर्णता को प्राप्त करना सरल है क्योंकि वहाँ ऐसा प्राकृतिकरूप से होता है”।

एक संसार, जहाँ भय का वर्चस्व हो... जहाँ चहुँ ओर अहम् पसरा हो, को समझना सरल है क्योंकि हम उस संसार में रहते हैं... उसे अनुभव करते हैं। हम उस संसार की व्यवस्था प्रणाली का ही एक हिस्सा हैं। और दूसरी ओर एक ऐसे संसार की कल्पना है जहाँ चहुँ ओर शांति व आनंद पसरा हो। ऐसे संसार की व्यवहारिकता व वास्तविक्ता पर संदेह होता है क्योंकि हमने कभी उसे अनुभव नहीं किया है। ”स्थाई शांति” व ”नित्य आनंद” का विचार हमें अप्राकृतिक लगता है... अव्यवहारिक लगता है। ऐसे संसार में रहना जहाँ भय न हो, को अपने विचारों में गढ़ना भी दूर की कौढ़ी प्रतीत होता है अर्थात ऐसे संसार की कल्पना करना भी हमारे लिए कठिन है।

तो भी... हैं तो हम मनुष्य। कल्पनाओं को सार्थक करना कितना ही कठिन हो, परंतु हम प्रयास अवश्य करते हैं। और जैसे ही हम अपनी कल्पनाओं में प्रेमरूपी संसार के सामाजिक ढांचे को गढ़ने का प्रयास करने लगते हैं; जैसे ही हम दूसरों के प्रति सद्भावना अपनाने का प्रयास करने लगते हैं, हममें व्याप्त अहम् की अधिकता व भयग्रस्त सोच हमारे मन पर हावी हो जाती है, जो दूसरों के प्रति जगे दयाभाव को नष्ट कर देती है। हमारे द्वारा ऐसी प्रतिक्रिया होती है क्योंकि हम भयग्रस्त संसार के भयग्रस्त व अहम् से पीड़ित निवासी हैं। एक कहावत है - संगति का असर होता है। सो इस संसार की व्यवस्था का असर है कि यह भय और अहम् हममें प्राकृतिक तौर पर विद्यमान है। ऐसे ही हैं हम!
