He who is the eyes of Gods' like Mitra, Varuna & Agni and all the beings of the world. He who is the Intimate soul of All-Life-Realities, amazingly rising on the horizon while completing the whole sky, space and earth with his light”. 'Vivasvatey Gyaanbhradantaraatmaney JagatPradeepaaye Jagadhvitai-shiney' Swayam-bhuvey Deept-sahastra-chakShushey Surottamaaya-amita-tejsey Namah' - In the Above Shaloka, to praise Lord Surya, Maharshi Vashishtha enunciates, “I bow to that Immense, Glorious and Eminent in Gods ‘Lord Surya' who is the consciousness of the scholars, Illuminator and ultimate well-wisher of the world, the Parthenogenesis, and decorated with thousand stimulating eyes”. There are many types of astrological systems existing in the world, such as Vedic astrology, Western astrology, etc. All the astrological systems have their own style of functioning but the Sun is one such unit which is 'The Prime' in every astrological system. For those too who don't accept astrology systems, Sun is the nucleus of the energy of our solar system. And those who believe in astrology, they take Sun as 'The Life Force Energy' and decorate him with the father's level. The Life exists, we exit as Sun exists. There is Sun in this world, and so does the water, fire and the speed of air. We have the Sun, so we can experience the spectrum of colours. There is light from the Sun and due to this the shadow also exists. The sun defines the weather cycle on our earth. Our soul personality directed by the situation of sun in our horoscope describes our virtues qualities master Chefs behaviour and conduct. If you see from the angle of astronomy, all cosmic bodies seem dead. But as per our seers of Vedic era, the Vedic Astrology is the science related to the Intense study of constellation and asterisms in which every planet, astro-sign and nakshatra ia related to a Human Figure, who is believed as the ruler of that cosmic entity . 'Our Sun' also presides human qualities. Here we call Sun as Our Sun because our Vedic texts repeatedly mentions that apart from our realm there are so many other visible and invisible realms who have their own Suns (Suryas). |

ॐ चित्रं देवानामुदगादनीकं चक्षुर्मित्रस्य वरूणस्याग्नेः । आप्रा द्यावापृथिवी अन्तरिक्षं सूर्य आत्मा जगतस्तस्थुषश्च ।।
।। यजुर्वेद ।। अनुवाद- ‘जो तेजोमयी किरणों के पुंज हैं, मित्र, वरुण तथा अग्नि आदि देवताओं एवं समस्त विश्व के प्राणियों के नेत्र हैं और स्थावर-जंगनात्मक समस्त जीवनिकाय के अंतर्यामी आत्मा हैं, वे भगवान सूर्य आकाश, पृथ्वी और अंतरिक्ष लोक को अपने प्रकाश से पूर्ण करते हुए आश्चर्य रूप से उदित हो रहे हैं।‘ महर्षि वशिष्ठ जी भगवान सूर्य की स्तुति करते हुए कहते हैं- विवस्वते ज्ञानभृदन्तरात्मने अनुवाद- “जो ज्ञानियों के अंतरात्मा, जगत को प्रकाशित करने वाले, संसार के हितैषी, स्वयंभू तथा सहस्त्र उद्दीप्त नेत्रों से सुशोभित हैं, उन अमित तेजस्वी सुरश्रे्रेष्ठ भगवान सूर्य को नमस्कार है।“
विश्व में कई प्रकार के ज्योतिष प्रणालियां प्रचलन में है जैसे वैदिक ज्योतिष, पाश्चात्य ज्योतिष इत्यादि। सभी ज्योतिष प्रणालियों की अपनी कार्यशैली है, परंतु ‘सूर्य‘ एक ऐसी इकाई है जिसे हर ज्योतिष प्रणाली में प्रधानता प्राप्त है। सूर्य हमारे सौरमंडल की ऊर्जा का केंद्रक स्रोत है। ज्योतिष को ना मानने वाले भी सूर्य को ‘जीवन शक्ति ऊर्जा‘ के रूप में स्वीकार करते हैं। और ज्योतिष में विश्वास करने वाले तो सूर्य को भगवान तथा पिता के स्तर से सुशोभित करते हैं। सूर्य है तो जीवन है, हम हैं। सूर्य हैं तो इस लोक में जल है, अग्नि है, वायु की गति है। सुर्य है तो हम रंगों को अनुभव कर पाते हैं। सूर्य से ही प्रकाश हैं और इसी के कारण छाया भी विद्यमान है। सूर्य हमारी पृथ्वी पर मौसम चक्र को परिभाषित करता है। जन्मपत्री में सूर्य की परिस्थिति द्वारा निर्देशित हमारी आत्मिक प्रकृति ही हमारे गुणों हुनर और आचरण को परिभाषित करती है खगोल शास्त्र की दृष्टि से देखें तो सभी ग्रह तारे एवं नक्षत्र हमें निर्जीव से प्रतीत होते हैं परंतु हमारे वैदिक काल के ऋषि मुनियों की मान्यता अनुसार ज्योतिष मूल रूप से नक्षत्र संबंधी विज्ञान है जिसमें हर ग्रह, तारा समूह, नक्षत्र का किसी ना किसी मानव रूपी जीवन से संबंध है, जिसे हम उस ग्रह, राशि व नक्षत्र का अधिष्ठाता स्वामी कहते हैं। हमारे सूर्य का भी मानव रूप है, गुण हैं। यहां सूर्य को ‘हमारा सूर्य‘ इसलिए कहा है क्योंकि हमारे पौराणिक ग्रंथ व शास्त्र बार-बार बताते हैं कि हमारे लोक के अतिरिक्त भी कई दृश्य-अदृश्य महान लोक हैं जिनके अपने-अपने सूर्य हैं। इसलिए जिस लोक में हम हैं वहाँ का सूर्य ‘हमारा सूर्य‘ ही कहलाएगा।
