Translation:-

"The body of Shani is of dark and blue complexion, who looks like Lord Shankar. For the universe he is the fire of death (Kaalagni) who imitates like a dreadful demon, posing terrible, frightful, horrible, green and awful posture".

"His body resembles the human skeleton who keeps long moustache, beard and stiff and curly hairs. He has pilling hairs (balls of fluffs) all over his wife spreaded body. He has a very tall and wide but dry body structure. And his denture is like the god death (kaalroop). His eyes are very deep like a horrified hollow ocean that it is almost impossible to look upon. He is extremely atrocious, dire, horrific and ghostly. He posses like a powerhouse that devours everything. He is the son of the Sun who grants excuses and liberates one from the mourns and grieves of the past, present and coming lives".

"He looks downward and is a slow Walker. He resembles a sword who has burned his body by the fiery-penance. He is always busy doing Yoga and always hungry and never forgiving. And if he is satisfied, he will grant the boon of Prosperous Kingdom and if he is indignant he will devour the kingdom in the fraction of moment".

"His sight causes destruction equally to demigods, demons, human beings, perfectionists (Siddha) and enlighted ones".

It is believed that a person suffering the consequences of his own karmas in the period of activeness of Shani should pray to him seeking his blessings by chanting his above-mentioned forms. Lord Shani promised King Dashratha that whoever will worship him with these names will never be feared of him, even in his dreams!!!
